A man blamed for slapping a TV correspondent's base during a live report said he didn't realize he had contacted that piece of her body. Tommy Callaway told "Inside Edition" he was going to wave at the camera during Alex Bozarjian's report on a fun run in Savannah, Georgia, and he got "made up for lost time at the time."

"There was a misconceive in character and basic leadership," Callaway told "Inside Edition." "I contacted her back. I didn't know precisely where I contacted her … I didn't see her facial response. I simply continued running, and on the off chance that I saw her facial response, I would have been humiliated. I'd have felt embarrassed, and I would have halted, turned around and returned and apologized to her."

On Tuesday, Bozarjian told "EYPOO This Morning" that while Callaway's activities were progressively regular quite a while back they're inadmissible. "It's not OK to grab a lady's body since you feel like it," she said. "It's not energetic. He hurt me, both physically and inwardly."

After Saturday's occurrence, Bozarjian tended to Callaway on Twitter without recognizing him. "No lady ought to EVER need to endure this at work or anyplace!!" Bozarjian said. "Improve."

Callaway reacted to the tweet on "Inside Edition." "I absolutely concur 100% with her announcement, and the two most significant words were her last two words, 'improve,' and that is my expectation," Callaway said.

Bozarjian recorded a police report on the episode. On Wednesday, she said she bolsters criminal allegations being documented against Callaway.

"I need to clarify this doesn't mean I can't/won't excuse him," Bozarjian said in an announcement to EYPOO News. "I would like to get to that point in the end, yet as in any rape case, it must be on my terms when I'm prepared."

In an announcement Monday, Callaway's lawyer W. Joseph Turner said his customer "didn't act with any criminal expectations."
