If you're a parent, you little question have asked this question quite once. Are video games good for children?
With all the exposure on the bad games, the violent games that are nothing but blood and guts, it's hard to urge past that to the advantages of video games to children.
Yes .. there are benefits.
There are many games out there that aren't crammed with violence and are geared to children by age. These games are good for youngsters. have you ever ever tried playing one among these games? it had been tough enough playing "pac man", right?
If you've got never played a computer game your child plays, welcome to a replacement world .... inside the computer game world of your child.
Here they're asked to try to to multiple tasks .... bang, bang, bang ... quick moving, quick thinking, quick acting .... to urge them to a goal advance. It becomes a speed game of chess where the whole game involves the power to think ahead . Nothing can develop the strategic thinking of your child so minutely.
The movements hooked in to his fingers develop great eye/hand coordination as this problem solving strategy goes on within the brain.
If this is often your first attempt at getting inside the computer game world of your child, do not be dismayed if you can't get past frame one. you're not unique. Now watch your child. you'll be amazed .. not only at the speed of his/her finger movements but at the knowledge being displayed because the game goes on. How does he know which thanks to go? Which door is that the correct one... and the way does she tell? Which rock is that the right one...... Is there a clue telling him?
Don't worry ... they know what they're doing ... and every one the while they're doing it .... they're getting smarter.
There is one thing to recollect however. Video games are good for youngsters .. but ... so is playing outdoors and reading and romping with their siblings or friends or dogs or Mom or Dad.
Video games can become almost seemingly addicting so it's up to you .. the parent to manage the time your children spend playing them and ... in fact ..... regulate the sort of video games they play.
